This week INTERO's new bass player Bart quit the band. He doesn't have the motivation or dedication that INTERO needs right now.
It's a little setback for the band but INTERO's even more determined to continue making noise the way they have always done.

INTERO found their new bassplayer!! Bart already joined INTERO on stage during the Summerfest show in July.

Unfortunately INTERO has to cancel their show planned this friday at Backstage in Nijmegen due to health issues.

It's sad but true … but Jop is leaving INTERO. Due to the fact that his other band; De Staat is really hitting it off right now.

So INTERO is searching for a new bass player! The last couple of weeks we have been working with a candidate, but unfortunately it didn't work out. Jop hasn't left yet. He will keep playing live with INTERO untill a new bass player is ready for it. Jop will guide the "new" member through our set list and help him with riffs and backing vocals.

So hit us up guys!!!

About himself leaving INTERO Jop stated:" De Staat is demanding too much time to fully concentrate on INTERO. I love playing the music and doing gigs but I can't deal with the fact that INTERO has a 50% bass player due to the demands of De Staat . It's really tough decision to make but I have to do this. INTERO is a band that needs a fully dedicated bass player and I just can't give them that 100%. I'm really sorry."

INTERO wishes good luck to Jop and De Staat! Thanks you for your dedication and 2 awesome years of Rock and Roll! We had a blast!!!
